WHITE PLAINS, NY (November 14, 2008) – Citadel Broadcasting, Emmis Communications and Clear Channel Communications, three major broadcasting groups, have recognized the powerful research potential of Audience Reaction™ and have signed agreements with Media Monitors. All three broadcast groups will be expanding their arrangements with Media Monitors with this pact.

Citadel one of the nation’s premier entertainment companies and parent of ABC Radio Networks will hone their programming intelligence at their legendary flagship station WABC, along with sister station WPLJ-FM in New York, KABC-AM and KLOS-FM in Los Angeles’, and WLS-AM and WLS-FM in Chicago.

Emmis Communications will be analyzing their programming data from Arbitron's PPM™ (Portable People Meter) with Audience Reaction giving them a competitive edge in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.

Clear Channel has expanded the role Media Monitors will play in their renowned group of stations. PDs in the top Clear Channel markets will be able to tap into the strategic market information Audience Reaction provides.

Philippe Generali, CEO/President of Media Monitors commented, “Audience Reaction is industry changing technology. Now, visually monitor what effect your programming has. Chart the behavior of the listeners in the PPM panel who were listening to your station. This helps you instantly notice changes in ratings. Coupled with GSelector scheduling your station becomes a truly flexible medium.”

The combination of instant listener reaction captured via PPM technology with the accurate Media Monitors' airplay information gives graphical representation of programming decisions. With Audience Reaction, subscribers can retrieve what was played on the air in the traditional log format, instantly spot peaks and dips in ratings and see migration of the panelists on a minute by minute basis. Media Monitors’ also provides web based software that helps prospect new business locally and nationally across radio, newspaper, cable and broadcast television.
